GLOW Gratitude and Graphic FREEBIE!

It’s been 10 weeks since the launch of GLOW! 10 WEEKS! The GLOW team has had a blast so far and it’s all because of you – our readers. First, I would like to say THANK YOU.

Your support has been invaluable. We are so thankful for the kind words, the feedback on posts and the LIKES and SHARES on social media. Without you, why would we be doing this?

Today I wanted to take a brief moment to ask YOU your thoughts on a few things. The GLOW team is here for you and we want to be writing on topics that interest you, encourage you in your daily walks with Christ and inspire you to live fully for Him.

So far we have posted on a wide range of topics from trials to parenting to recipes. Now that you have a taste of who we are and what we are about, we want to know… what topics do YOU want to read about?

What topics have we already discussed that left you wanting to know more?

What topics have we NOT discussed that intrigue you?

Are there questions in your quiet time or in church that you would like more clarity on?

What would you like to see more or less of?

What do you like? What do you not like?

How can we improve?

Today, we are asking for YOUR feedback. Please comment below with your thoughts on GLOW! Nothing is off limits. We will take your questions and comments to heart and do our very best to consider them all. Thank you for being on this journey with us!

So partly as a thank you, and partly because it’s Monday (and partly because we are girls and like this stuff), enjoy this FREE iPhone wallpaper made by my sweet friend Sydnee Peacock.

Ephesians 5-8-iPhone2

Ephesians 5:8 is a great reminder of the gift that the Lord gave us and how we are to live our lives. It is the heartbeat behind GLOW and is a verse close to our hearts. For those of you who are new to GLOW or have never had a chance to read our story, you can find it here. May we be a shining light in our everyday!

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” Ephesians 5:8 (NIV)

I hope you have a great week, friends! Give us a shout if we can help you in any way. And don’t forget to leave your feedback below!

PS. Get excited for the few weeks ahead. We have a “Week of Gratitude” coming up for Thanksgiving and after that, a HUGE Christmas giveaway! We will be hosting the 12 Days of Christmas with giveaways every day December 1-12. We are partnering with many great business owners that are doing amazing things for the Kingdom – we can’t wait to pass along some girly goodies! :)

I am so excited to see GLOW doing so well!! It has been such a blessing to me to see how the Lord is working in everyone else’s lives. Me being a music person, I would love to see some on hymns or songs that have impacted y’all!

Again, thank you for all that you have done! This has been an incredible journey so far!

    • Alyssa Martin

Chelsea, thanks so much for your feedback! We will think through some songs that have impacted us and try to include that in a post or two. We appreciate your suggestion and we are grateful to have you a part of our community! You are an encouragement to us! Have a great day!

I just love starting my mornings off with GLOW! It’s become part of my morning routine and has been such a blessing to me.

A few of my favorite posts are the ones that included hosting tips and recipes. I would love to read more posts on those topics. Parenting tips, date night ideas or family traditions that you remember growing up would be fun posts, also!

Regardless, I love reading about women encouraging women and your blog does that daily, thank you!

    • Alyssa Martin

Chelsy, you are such an encouragement! I’ve heard a few people mention they also love the hosting tips and recipes – we will have to do more of that! Those are some of my favorites too. :) I also love the ideas of family traditions, especially with the holiday season here. There is a post coming up on date night ideas (stay tuned), but I think even more on that topic would be wonderful! Date nights are a necessity! Thanks so much for your input and suggestions. We are SO glad you are a part!

Every post that has been posted on GLOW, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading. It is so awesome to see God working in people’s lives all across the globe. I agree with the music idea because I personally get so much worship out of Christian music. I would also love to hear more about witnessing to different kinds of people, whether that be through the workforce, someone that you mentor, or an organization that people are involved with, it is always super encouraging when I hear about those types of stories. Keep up the good work! Loving it so far!

    • Alyssa Martin

Hannah, thank you for your feedback! We will have to write more on music! This weekend Bailey posted a photo on our instagram regarding music and a lot of people seemed to like that. I’ll give it some thought – I LOVE to worship through music as well, and I know that Kelsey and Andi do too! :) YES – posts on evangelism is much needed! Great idea! After all, that’s our calling, no matter our day-to-day circumstance and it can relate to everyone. We will definitely put some thought to those topics – THANK YOU! Love you, sister! :)

  • Dana

I have soooo enjoyed all of the Glow posts!!! So encouraging, challenging and inspiring!!! The first thing that came to mind when I read your comment asking for feedback is – I so hope that you keep this blog balanced when it comes to married/singles stuff. I enjoy reading the tips for wives/moms, but there are a good number of us out here who are single as well . It seems like I will find blogs that write to one or the other rather than focusing on girls in general and the things we all face (single or married). Just worked a 13 hour day and my brain is fading…hope that makes sense. I am sooooo thankful for all of you who have been so willing to share thus far!!!

    Thank you!!

    • Alyssa Martin

Dana, thanks so much for the suggestions! Our goal is to apply to ALL girls/women in ALL phases of life, so your feedback was a great reminder to make sure we do that! :) If you feel we are not being balanced in our writing going forward, PLEASE tell us!

SO EXCITED ABOUT GLOW. I’ve been loving the posts, but have been a “phantom reader.” I always read them through e-mail while I’m at work (shhhhhh), so I can never comment. KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING! :)

    • Alyssa Martin

Thank you so much Leah! We definitely appreciate you reading, even if you are a “phantom reader”! :) So glad you enjoy the posts and we are excited you were able to comment today….keep those comments coming, girlfriend…but don’t get in trouble! 😉
