A glimpse of me

I am thrilled beyond words to begin this blog. It’s been in the works for months now- lots of thought, prayer, and time. Alyssa has worked extremely hard on it! Claps for her for listening to the Lord urging her heart to start this ministry. And now all of us have the privilege of being blessed by it and having an online community of women. Women encouraging one another, sharing the good and bad of life, and just plain having FUN!

As you can see in my bio, I’m Andi…a wife and new mommy. I’ve lived a short 24 years on this earth but feel much older now that I’m a mom. I have been a Christ follower for 11 years of my life, by the sweet grace of God! I have three jobs that I love and that the Lord continues to use to mold me into His image.

First, I’m a wife. Being a wife certainly doesn’t come without its challenges. I have the most patient husband on earth. I never realized how selfish I could be until I got married…anyone with me?

And please look at this hottie I call HUSBAND!

Secondly, I’m a mommy…challenging but incredibly rewarding (If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard that…but really, it’s true).  Liam is my pride and joy!

Look at this sweet face!

And lastly, I’m a minister to middle and high school girls. Tyler, my husband, is a youth minister, and I get the “job” of partnering with him in this. I say “job” because I have SO much fun doing it. Those girls keep me YOUNG! I love them more than I love everything sweet and chocolaty (and that’s a phenomenal amount).

As I post weekly, you’ll notice my posts will be all over the place! I have a heart for youth girls, mommas, and wives. I love to bake and am LEARNING to love to cook. I love to craft and am delving more into DIY projects. SO, let’s have a blast together! We encourage feedback, conversation, questions, etc. I can’t wait to catch up with you every week! Thank you for being a part of this ministry!

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Smell the coffee. Feel the sunshine. Wear your comfy pants.

Mucho love, chicas!

I loved this so much, and I am becoming aware that I might be falling in love with Glow. 😉

All of you ladies are such sweeties!

Oh and, I have a Liam due in 3 weeks. So… bravo to us for being awesome name-choosers. 😉 Your Liam is a DOLL, by the way.

Thank you so much, Tawni! We’re so glad you’re a part of this! CONGRATULATIONS on your little Liam! I know you’ll be so blessed by him! Funny thing about ours… People in SC don’t always pronounce things like they should so this poor baby has been called Lem Clem way too many times. I’m like… It’s LEE-UM Clem! Ha! I hope the delivery goes smoothly! I just said a prayer for y’all. Thank you again!

Your little baby is the cutest thing! O my goodness my heart melted. I love that you have so much respect for your jobs. Being a mother and a wife is a huge undertaking, that includes daily acts of service and should not be undervalued. You are awesome + have a beautiful family Andi!

Rachael- Thank you so much! You’re right–wife and mom are huge undertakings, but I’m thankful I get to have those jobs! I’m extremely glad you’re joining us on this fun journey :)
